Object of lying
2018 Interactive installation with the giant switch and video projection Technical assistance from Alex Ngo and Pierre-Guillaume Le Guay In a small dark room, there is a closed window looking real as well as illusory. Through the window, the beautiful sky gradually changes color and white clouds slowly move towards an unknown place. The window is always closed. It is unknown if it reflects the real sky. We enter the room by a giant switch on the floor. We step on the switch and move our weight to the opposite side of the switch. The body rocks slightly and then lands on the other side with a small vibration that hits the floor as if we have arrived in another world. But the moment we arrive in the room, the window disappears, enveloping us in total darkness. On leaving the room, the window reappears. In this small dark room, the window remains inaccessible. We can't approach it or open it. |
